Hi Everyone, My name is David, retired language teacher living in Paris. I'm in the pocess of buying a roadster,my first Morgan, that needs a colour change. I have spoken to a super guy called Gary who has a garage in Stoke on Trent called BodyMec. It's a lot of money and want to be sure the guy is as good as he sounds. Any views! Thanks in advance for any help.

I don't know the the company but the best way to spray a morgan is to take the bonnets, cowl and wings off. So check how this company is going to do the work.

My 4/4 had a full respray and retrim a year and a bit ago. Feel free to PM me if you want details and costs.
A warning: Once the panels come off, more problems than you were expecting may appear, raising the costs.

Dean-Royal on this site is our resident paint expert -- Ask him!! If not "up North" I would consult one of the main Morgan dealers - Williams, Richard Thorne, Rutters - These are reputable people who the Morgan community respect

You live in Paris , I have just had mine done I can send you photos the garage is ran by a 66 year old chap and he is a concours judge for the Mercedes Benz club . I am very happy with his work . He is based in Darlington Co Durham has a web site and has done a good few mogs after the lads looked at mine , he can also touch in so you would not know it had been done . If you did put it in his place you could fly to Teeside airport and they would pick you up about 8 mile away . Also I could keep an eye on it if you wanted. If you need any info give me a shout PM.

There is an excellent place near to where I live. http://www.mitchellmotors.co.uk/Just depends how deep your pockets are. I drove past here every day to work for over 11 years to see the naked exotic vehicles rolling in and out of the work shop was a treat. Just browsing the website is a treat.

Have you considered getting it 'wrapped' - would be a lot cheaper... won't look as good but protects against stone chips and you can change the colour back a lot more easily!
I've seen some rather good wraps recently...
