The car came with a full tonneau...which I tend to use when it gets colder...I don't usually carry a passenger. It is a pain to fold up behind the seats without catching the seat belts, although I'm sure DaveW will come along with the correct way to fold one! I'm having it converted to three zip to make it easier.
In the summer I tend to use an Alon White half tonneau which I specified with a flap that comes down behind the seats. It makes a good hood cover and hides things stored behind the seats.

I use my tonneau a lot.

Car looks very tidy with it in place, and easy to remove head rests. Car then left with tonneau zipped up.

Have thought about a "zip cover/flap" so as to make it all waterproof.

Side screens on or off - no problem.

I ordered the tonneau with both of my Morgans, but have rarely used it. However, I keep intending to use it!

I have this vision of touring in the South of France, removing the easy up hood completely, and just using the tonneau when parked up. Keeps the sun off the walnut, is more secure and looks quite cool too.

As above I always use mine when alone, side screens on or off. If swmbo with me I tend to use the quarter tonneau although the full one does fold behind the seats. Agree a 3 zip one would be ideal but never tried one. Also living by the sea I prefer vinyl hood and tonneaux for obvious reasons !

I use my tonneau a lot. First I had a PVC one, a couple of years ago we had a 3 zip mohair one made.
I think that for an older 4-seater like mine it's of more use than for a new 2-seater with easy up hood.

I would specify a tonneau always. I use mine a lot but now the zip has bust. Does anyone have suggestions as to repair.

I use my tonneau cover more often than not, but then I don't have an easy-up hood. It's great when parking up, as it keeps out nosy parkers, blown leaves, dust, rain showers etc. But it is not totally rainproof as I discovered after a day of torrential rain and had an inch of water to bail out of the footwells!

A tonneau cover is worth having even if it doesn't get much use, for all the reasons mentioned above. With the easy up on my Roadster, I prefer the hood cover over the folded hood. With that I always use a home made filler tonneau cover which fits between the hood cover and wind stop. In winter when solo I made up a passenger side only tonneau cover whichever dovetails with the filler tonneau cover and also has a hole so that I can retain the passenger headrest for symmetry.
Bumble didn't come with a tonneau cover so doesn't have the fasteners on the dash top. I made up a quarter tonneau cover to fit up to the rear of the seats, and had it professionally edged.
So - when I finally make my order, it will be mohair easy up and tonneau cover as a starter for ten.

Cannot add anything new to this thread apart from using mine regularly with or without a passenger. On second thoughts when on my own getting out of the car in the garage I put bits I am taking with me on the tonneau and use it as a shelf. Saves bending into the car to get them. So what about 101 uses for a tonneau?

Mine is a 3zipper and I use it nearly every time when parking somewhere.
