Yes , I use the the Bilstein rears on my +8. IIRC they are the units which were specified for the Series 1 Roadster, which was set up as "soft" as MMC dared to use at that time.
It does make the rear end slightly more compliant over the gentler bumps, and due to the the fitment of bump stops inside the units , it does seem to cope with the larger hits as well.

I had them as standard on the back of my 08 4 seater, hard to tell how good they were as the rear springs collapsed twice they were so soft until the factory revised them and cured the problem, shortly after that I sold the car.
Thanks everyone. I spoke to Rob Wells this morning at Librands and he will check with Suplex and Bilstein to see how they are set up and if they are suitable for the four seater.

The Bilsteins as std on the rear of the 4 seater as photo attached with the long white 'spring assist' are NOT the same as those on the rear of the 3.0 V6 Roadster. Different valving, bump stop etc. Regards PJB.
