Cheers,
What's with the horn, it sounds...awful. I'm assuming it's an easy swap?
Also, is it easy to change the oil? And what are you using?

I think it sounds great. Its cheeky (like the car) and is loud. Essential if someone decides to reverse into you in a jam.
Matter of taste I suppose?

Also, is it easy to change the oil? And what are you using? Some people have fitted air horns. Just look on eBay for 'Compact air horn'. Oil change is easy. Just drain by removing the lower ends of the hozes that run from the oil tank to the engine block. Remove the block drain plug and inspect for residue/swarf (!), replace the filter and refill with oil. There is much discussion about which oil to use. S&S recommend Mobil 1 V-Twin 20W50 fully synthetic. There are many threads about both of these issues on this forum - just use the advanced search facility and have a dig around.

Or you can use the ez valve drain...which i have installed...its very easy, but i know there will be some old oil left in the hoses & engine...but you dont have to do the oil changes when the oil is really burnt...

Yes and no. The motor is a dry sump motor and all the oil lives in a 6 quart oil tank which resides under the cowl piece. The tank has a drain plug but it is awkward to drain without having oil go everywhere. Probably everyone on this forum has their own method for changing the oil. There is also a small drain plug on the bottom of the engine to drain any oil that might have pooled in the bottom of the sump, usually no more than half a cup or so.
