Morgan drill quite a few holes in the chassis, don't they? I don't suppose they give them much treatment. I suspect that the Morgan chassis will outlast my ownership so I'm not too worried.

I recall thinking the same when the Wheeler Dealers episode was on.

Hi John, what style of bolts are you using for bolting the front wngs to the body. On 4/4 someone has used very, very long slotted flat head bolts. I intend to use Stainless Steel of the correct length, but would like to replicate the factory style

This for brake reaction bars. I understood when I got them for my old +4 they are designed to shear if you crash as the front is a crumple zone. They come I assume with the bars

Well worth the investment...basically tightens everything up and feels more 'secure'. Reaction Bars not a difficult job (I just painted on some black hammerite in bare holes), Panhard rod is not difficult but getting underneath to bolt the Panhard rod is easier if you have a lift or pit (I don't and meant leaning over into the rear axle area after removing tool tray).

I fitted Reaction bars to my Plus 8 when I prepared it for racing. Significant difference under heavy braking, no juddering through steering wheel. Recommend.

Was advised not to bother with aftermarket panhard rod, the effects would be minimal.

IMHO panhard rod does improve the rear end feel, and is more stable when cornering hard.
