I think a panhard rod makes a big difference +1, I found the Panhard rod made a big improvement, especially in bumpy corners.

I hope a Panhard rod will make a difference to my 07 +4. I'm looking for it to stop the prop shaft wearing through the transmision tunnel!!!! Obviously the improvement in handling would be nice too. Cheers John

On the 4 seater the rear tyres made a trace in the underseal on the inner wing panel. On fitting a Panhard rod this has gone so it obviously works. You notice it most on cornering hard with the 4 seater which is obviously heavier in the rear.

Despite the panhard rod I still get the propshaft touching something when I really throw the car round a tight right hand hairpin. I expect to resolve that problem when I fit the Suplex 5L rear suspension.

I expect to resolve that problem when I fit the Suplex 5L rear suspension. I had a very interesting chat with Dan White and Peter Ballard at the NEC on Friday. According to Dan, price is going to be GBP 2400 + VAT and will take about 9 hours of workshop time. Home installation is perfectly possible although a lift or pit will be very useful as you need to get under to drill the chassis for the Panhard rod. All the other mounting points pick up from existing locations. Once I get the garage sorted I may well contemplate doing this conversion myself...

I fitted brake reaction bars to my 4/4 4 seater midway through the speedmog championship and it made a huge difference! Do it. while the wheels are off and your in the area fit some camber plates too. This then made turning into corners crisper.
My father in law fitted his own panhard rod to stiffen the rear end (of his Morgan) and anti tramp bars (but you only need this when you floor it at the start line or traffic lights)
I used Galvafroid and spray (not together) and they are both just as good.

How did you manage with the top of the kingpin when fitting camber plates? Surely changing the camber will put a strain on the top mounting bolt?
