Privacy glass down-under is vital.....helps keep the sun out.

Speed limiters - had a hire car with one set ridiculously low by the previous renter. Nearly died (not too much of an exaggeration) when I pulled on to a freeway, put my foot down and nothing past 60kph.

Ah! I was guilty of being a bit UK-centric there. I'll clarify: Privacy glass in the UK!!!!!

I don't know what that would be but it would possibly come from the far east or E.Europe.

... Now that you can no longer buy a new LR Defender

The absence of most modern nonsense is why I love my Landie so much, despite its many other foibles

All driver aids - the day I can`t park, steer, know it`s raining, do a hill start or reverse will be the day I give up driving.

I must admit, I can enjoy both sides of the spectrum!

Tesla Model S, 21 inch, 17 inch touchscreen (only 2 buttons left on the dash!), autopilot, autopark, but no privacy glass...!

Morgan 4/4, carbs, no powersteering, just recently vacuum assistance for braking added with four-pot calipers in front, I felt almost guilty about that....!

So 2 worlds, it can be fun!

Part of the fun for me of driving a Morgan is that it is not a modern "box". But both have their place....

We'll know it's the end for Morgan when privacy glass becomes an option on the MMC price list. grin2
