I'm wondering what does Ford themselves to offer the same 1.6 ti vct engine up to 134 HP...Scroll down a little bit to the 2011 onwards version of this engine.

Rog. I have the full AR throttle body set up, ECU, manifold, cat and exhaust conversion. With the 4:1 axle. ( and a few extra goodies)

I'm getting about 163 HP at the wheels. I'll try and post the rolling road dyno print out to show you the much improved torque curve.

I can't, however, fully explain the glorious sound of throttle bodies at 7000rpm!!

That must be one very quick little car particularly with that ratio smile

I always thought having the 4.1 diff fitted to my 4/4 was one of the best mods I did to it.

Jays very correct in that the ratio swap really does change the car- add that to some Avon CR's and a Panhard Rod - and you have a fun car to throw about....

The 163BHP - also helps innocent

WWe have a lot of tunnels on the Superstrada that runs parallel to the road along the lake. If you really want to hear how it sounds you should try it here. Speed limit is 100 kph but if you do that you will be holding up the traffic evil

Hey Kevfitz, how is the remap going now? Has it affected the mpg at all?

I had my 2013 4/4 remapped last year by Williams it was a big improvement with better torque and improved access to the engine's top end by which I mean that it is easier to use the engine at 5000rpm plus. The fuel consumption has not suffered noticeably even though the car is driven a bit harder.
