I took a good friend of mine to pick up his new Tesla recently. It's an amazing car. Very comfortable indeed and the technology is mind blowing. Driving it back down a busy M6 using auto steer cruise control was fascinating to witness. I think I've seen the future of motoring but I'll stick to my 4/4 whilst petrol is still available.

I like the concept and the styling. The one thing puts me off is that over large iPad like panel in the centre of the dash....it overwhelms it I think.

It doesn't look out of place Jay as the rest of the dashboard is very bare and the car interior is very large.

I heard Elon Musk talk last night at a dinner event - his next "thing" is to look at inventing a supersonic passenger jet that is eco-friendly!!
Also talked about his views on space.

Still one month waiting before collecting my Model S! It's already produced and left the factory. Then to New York, from New York to the Netherlands by boat, and then final assembly in Tilburg, where it will be delivered. I cannot wait.....!

I'm sure you will have lots of fun with it Ruut. I sat in and looked over one at Ascot Racecourse back last summer at the Red Bull Air race and love the lines and finish of it.
It seemed quite a big car was the only thing that would deter me down here in the Devon lanes if I was in the market for one.

I like my S. I will order the 3 when it comes out as I will be retiring soon (some people have suggested I have been retired a long time already but I do in fact still work one day a week!) and want to down size at that point.
