Change to a different relay? That has to be possible.

Hi Andy is it the dim dip relay that has gone ? I had a similar problem and ended up removing it , there is a thread somewhere describing this but i also had a problem with the light stalk on the column as after removing the dim dip it burnt out as it was carrying to much current on full beam. This needed replacing so ended up adding a relay in line.

Andy, can you give us more detail? At present your fault is a trifle vague. Do you mean no dip and no main, or just no dip. If it's the dim-dip relay, they are removable, but depending on type may require some wires reconnecting. You're better off without those troublesome dim-dip things anyway (says he who has still to remove his!) ).

I've responded to your PM Andy. 'Fraid I only get on here evenings and weekends... See if you can find my post re: removing dim-dip, or talk to Keith at BHM. Removal is relatively simple, though you will need to re-connect two pairs of wires, depending on which dim-dip unit is fitted...
