and this is the 3rd time.
Is there any mod to be put in place to avoid to change the (expensive) oil sump because of speed bumpers, gate stoppers etc?

Is there a sump guard? Like the one you can get for the +8.

The Coupe has gone through 2 already, I live in fear of ramps and bumps.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Yes Melvin Rutter was advertising about the sump guard for +8/Aero in Januarys issue of Miscellany.

Wow, some things never change in Morgan's world!!

In 1965 or 66 I bought my first Morgan, a well used +4 4 seater. I had it about a week and then punched a hole in the oil sump on the gate stop. Parents were not amused to see a huge black oil stain on their pristine driveway.
When I got the +8, I hammered that gate stop into the concrete as low as I could.

Imagine what its like with a caterham 7 or lotus or any low sports car , terrifying ! The oil filter on my 7 was less than 3 inches ground clearance !

Geneva 2016 plus 8' The Green Godess' 4 side exits .
