I was wondering where the best place to order an organ pedal from?

Melvyn Rutter has a slick parts service. So far I've been very pleased. Speak to Graham on 01279 725725.

What is the organ pedal good for? I get very good along without it. Of course I have no comparison....

Your question as to what an organ pedal is good for, many a church musician will have a few answers but on a Morgan, I'm not sure. It certainly makes a predictable rattle when you lift off the gas. Most likely it is another detail to admire, us classic owners thrive on them ..the devil and details.

Presumably when retro fitting it has to be bolted through the carpet or does the carpet have to be cut away for easy carpet removal?? coffee

Has anyone fitted one to the back plate of the Brake light activator to avoid the above??? idea

Frank - I would cut the carpet, otherwise it's a faff to remove for cleaning. It will easily screw to the floor, but a pin chuck makes this much easier.

Lightsphere - you can stop that annoying rattle by fitting some double sided tape (but leaving the plastic film in place for the roller) - covered in one of my previous threads.

Ivo - what's it good for?? dunno, never had just the roller, but painted it looks gorgeous....... thumbs

I fitted an organ pedal (bought from Rutters) because on long drives, and depending on what shoes I was wearing, I found that the pressure from the roller became slightly uncomfortable. Fitted the organ pedal and find it more comfortable and easier to move my right foot around. I think it looks good as well, hadn't thought of painting it Dave but now you've sown that seed...
As far as the rattle is concerened I probably don't notice it above all of the other rattles and creaks wink

I´ve had an organ pedal on my previous Morgan. The new car is without. My (very personal) experience is, that it makes the drive more comfortable without the pedal because I don´t have to lift the foot all the time when driving on low throttle. The angel of the foot is more relaxed.

Does the organ pedal make heal and toeing easier? Seems like it might and I was considering adding one for this purpose.
