Are you replacing or just removing?
If replacing I'd slit it with a blade.

The hose can get almost welded to the tank/filler pipes after a long time. If you can get the collet on the back of the fuel filler undone a little, this will allow you to turn the filler cap in the back panel and may help release the hose. Otherwise it will probably have to be cut in the middle and prised of each end. Once you have the clips off a little WD40 in the junction behind the filler cap may help also. This is for the flip up type filler on a two seater. Hope it helps!

When you replace it the new one has to be lined with a certain kind of rubber that is not by the new petrol. Replaced mine 2 year ago.

This is new to Me. I have had problems with gas hose. Cost Me an extra day in New Orleans to get it sorted. Ethanol! I now change all the gas hose every two years.
Yes I would slit the old hose to remove it.

If IRRC for a 65 +4 they are 2 inch internal but it's not straight as you can do doubt tell from the old one. There is about a thirty degree bend about two thirds of the way down. Tall order for a local parts store I would think especially in the correct material.

I spoke with Morgan spares they say the new hose is 1/8 in smaller and difficult to get on, I'm wondering if they make it in flex hose stainless
