Hi Morpheus, You can get stainless bezels from Melvin Rutter. I fitted them to my VDO instruments. One thing I should say is that they were a little reluctant to sell them to me, saying that it was a job for a specialist. They did ship them, I fitted them (with no special tooling) and they look great in my opinion, just took a bit of time and patience.
I tried to attach a photo (which I've not tried to do on TalkMorgan before0 but it doesn't seem to have worked. I'd be happy to email it direct o.g. if you like.
I would also be very interested in how you did this as I always understood that specialist equipment was required? The only person I could find to do it was Belmog, but he declined to deal with me as Jersey is outside the EU

Thanks, that worked beautifully. Photo now on "latest photos".
Brian V, I prised the old bezels off from the rear of the instruments with a small screwdriver. On one or two of them I had to shave a tiny bit off of the rim to get the chrome bezel to fit, I used a Dremel fitted with a fine grinding stone to do that. With the instrument face down on a table and a piece of cloth I folded the new bezel over the rim of the instrument using the blade of a wide(ish) flat head screwdriver, slowly working around. The rear of the instruments probably don't look as tidy as if it had been done with a folding tool but once installed you can't see it anyway. I'm very happy with the finished article and defy anyone to tell that they weren't original or professionally done.
My '02 +8 has the later layout, I don't think the instruments are the same, my black bezels have a rather nasty D shaped extrusion at the bottom. I'm not to sure what I will find underneath if I pry them off. Hmm maybe time to talk to MK.
