Well its yet more bad news unfortunately, I was supposed to receive her back home today..arranged to work from home this afternoon but they have found another fault with the car now, it looks like some electrical fault possibly a control module. Its looking like I might as well cancel my weeks holiday next week, as I still will be Aeroless..

Bugger, sorry to hear this at least they have the chance to complete the pre delivery checks thoroughly this time and your experience will be a positive one when you take delivery.

I have an OBD made by Autel....bought few yrs ago.
Sealey are UK distributors for Autel now.
Mine allows choice of manufacturer, fault diagnosis and clearing, live monitoring of the engine( during a run) etc.unfortunately mine is no longer supported for software upgrades but not an issue yet. It does my 2002 Plus8 ok.
If replacing then I would be tempted by the Torque smartphone app with a plug in Bluetooth adaptor as it gets decent reviews and is cheapish.
