I think you'll be missing a trick if you only target the 'school run' sector, surely the same car, with a few minor modifications to the suggested specification, could also be marketed as the 'Business Runner'? And a van version 'Work Runner'.

So a common platform (as per the major manufacturers) but with a variety of options to suit each market sector.

If you elected to keep numbers down, you could sell them as Limited Editions with a corresponding price hike and an optional handbrake.....

Don't forget the scent/air conditioning unit which seems to pipe the odour of foul manners and bile into the cabin to assist the drivers mood during the run.

Like the skip idea, Matt black chains Mmm not sure, they might tear the wall down either side where it would be anchored. All good fun.

I knew a chap once who couldn't park in front of his own house because his neighbour always parked there by the time he got home.So he bought an old mini van and parked it in front of his house when the neighbour went out. It stayed there a long time.

My daughter has problems with turners on the drive but from the local shop which is at the end of the road. I think railway crossing gates would look good. White with a red target.
An old Landrover parked right at the end would dissuade some though.
There's a school just up the road from us and although it's not too bad, our road gets congested twice a day. Our drive is narrow and close to the road junction so we don't seem to get turners.
