Talk Morgan Forums Community The Malvern Arms LM Classic hotel recommendation

I need to leave LM on Sunday after the race as I am booked on an early ferry on Monday 11/7 from Caen ouistreham. Any suggestions for a decent cheap hotel in the area please, Ibis near the railway station in Caen town centre looks ok, anyone ever stayed there?

I've used Campanile hotels a lot in France. Not stayed at Caen, but I find they are all similar, quite often on the edge of town with plenty of parking.

I would stay in Ouistreham and I see there is a Best Western hotel there plus others.

That's very close to the ferry and avoids the hassle of Caen.

We are staying at the Ibis Style at Ouistreham, as in previous years. Fits your decent and cheap criteria, and is right next to Ferry Port.
If this is not available, try using
www.booking.com
for Ouistreham and see what comes up.

This is 30 minutes away from the port. Stayed here quite a few times, but depends how early your start is.
