Does anyone make a reasonably priced Stirling Moss style helmet?

Question regarding Davida helmets:
From my motorbike times I am used to select a helmet that really fist my head.
I tried Davida because of the perfect design but was very disappointed on the poor fit.
Do other people have similar limitations when it comes to helmets?
(Schuberth and Shoei helmets fit me nicely, most others don't)

Absolutely, some work really well and fit perfectly, others sadly cannot be used.

Davida Classic is a great fit but their jet doesn't.

Bell, Agv, Kbc (Harley) & Cromwell all work but Premier doesn't

Funny old business.

I wonder if you could take a regular open-faced helmet and have a leather shop cover it in a nice, antiqued leather for not too much. The net might be significantly less than some of the custom helmets.

On a 150 mile motorway trip the other day I proved beyond doubt that earplugs and a motorcycle helmet offer by far the greatest reduction in bevel box noise innocent

I agree on the ear plugs, I need to save what little hearing I have left. Bevel box noise not really an issue with me.

I've noticed that with a half helmet by the time the bevel box starts to get noisy, the wind noise overpowers it, and it ends up being tied with engine noise with ear plugs in. May try with a 3/4 helmet
