Once again thank you its been a hard time I get told one thing and see another . Mam is still on the drip and I thought the worst . On Friday when June and I where leaving her side ward room mam had been silent for days . I leaned over to give her a kiss and she shrieked , the back of my pants went wet instantly could not stop . But by Sat she had opened her eyes at last a tiny bit of mumble but it was a start. I was careful when getting my kiss . Y/day sitting trying to chat to June still on a drip and oxygen , the nurse said she heard her singing the night before , oddly the wards are still full, but she is still not eating . Y/day we went to a classic car show we wandered off into a 13c church and I lit a candle for mam and prayed . Me the worlds biggest atheist , rather two faced I thought of my self. Spoke to a few interesting lads one with an early 30s Lea Francis what a nice unassuming interesting lad

On the other side we have been working , yes I typed WE , on the mog to try to take our mind off the situation . All the screw heads are now in line and the bolts all in order. The odd bit I was under the dash feet on the head rest head on the pedals as June was sorting out the correct screws on the bulk head . To get a better angle I fiddled about near the steering column put my hand on it and out fell a large'ish s/steel ratchet . I had been down there last year but its not mine so must be Ben Duncans off 5 year ago . Hell I have driven the mog about a fare bit and it never dropped out . I put it down to smooth driving . I will wrap it up and return it to Ben.

Your standards are slipping! How did you not find it and polish it before now?

Only 1 screw left to do and its been driving me mad 100s on the mog and this one was at the wrong angle just done it so thats that out the way . The C-TEC is buggered purchased a new one off BHM .But the connection wires are miles shorter on the new one I need a 4 meter connection . I put double electric plugs both sides and both ends of the garage due to its size and the mog with its battery is roughly in the middle TYPICAL. The ratchet is clean and bagged ready to post off , maybe Ben left it there to tighten my nuts when I got into awkward positions with as we work on and under the mog.

Jack, ctech offer extension leads for the 12 volt side of the cable, you can find them on eBay and through the web site. I had the same issue.

Alistair thanks but its the story of my life I need a bigger one ! I checked them out and all I can see is a 2.5m that just gets it to the screen . Not to happy about attaching a 2.5 to a 2.5 . Phil at BHM is going to ask his supplier . Its only a longer bit of wire and same two connections , but at times its like trying to get gold.

Cut in the middle, insert longer piece, solder and heat shrink.
