My 2005 4/4 has a tyre size 165/80 15 and it´s Vredestein t-trac 2 new tyres.
My Front Suspension are upgraded to Mulfab Hard Chrome Kingpins, over-size Phosphor Bronze kingpin bushes, Steering Bearing kit, Steering Damper and SPAX Adjustable Dampers.

The Morgan Owner´s Handbook says that the tyres should be set at 22 PSI.
My car do a kind of floating on the road with only 22 PSI. Now I use 26 at front and 28 at back, and the car is very nice to drive. The damper has 1 click.

I have tried with different hardnes on the Spax damper and find hat 1 click is the best.

The car are 1130 kg (2491 lbs.) with 2 person and traveling equipment.

What experience do you have with the tyre pressures and dampers adjustment?

I have 3 Morgans, all old, I use 24PSI all around on all of them. I have tried different pressures on all of them. 22 too low. I think if I had My druthers I would run at about 28PSI. 24 seems about as good as it gets with Me and keeps My passenger a bit happier.

As for shocks, take them off and try that. You will be amazed at how little they do. I have Koni's on the softest setting. Mainly to keep My fellow Morgan Owners from laughing at Me.

Your pressures sound about right. Factory pressures do seem a bit low. Experiment and find out what's right for you. Agree with Spax, use on softest setting especially if they are the older type. Konis are a bit more compliant.

What about tyre pressures on a roadster 4 seater with +8 alloys?
