It may work if you have the earlier rear mounted shifter but the later forward mounted shifter has a very rearward bent arm.

Wouldn't work for me as if the length of the gear shaft is 3" longer than standard the gear knob would be well above the lower edge of the dashboard of a Morgan and smashing my hand on the dash when changing into 1st, 3rd or 5th gear isn't a change that I would welcome.

You could shorten the lever Andrew255 but it will make the change heavier, why bother? The Mazda forward gearchange on the M3W is as near perfect as you can get anyway. These long lever, short shifts are designed to make the top of the gear lever closer to the steering wheel for quick changes on a Mazda MX5/Miata, not a problem on a M3W.
