Fe me it is the Aerospace industry Certification that makes ACF50 worth the
money.
That it works and is harmless to everything, including electrical cables and connectors, is not a manufacturers claim, it is a claim based on evidence from 3rd party testing to meet the exacting requirements of the FAA.
So, I'm a supporter.
Oh yes, it make all plastic stuff under the bonnet look as new...an aesthetic benefit!

I wonder how many snakes are needed to fill a 950ml bottle?
It's definitely good stuff but I'm not sure it ought to be compared to WD40, they are really designed for different purposes. Thats quite right - they are very often wrongly compared!!

It is good stuff.
I've been using it for a while.
I'm wondering if a few drops in my whiskey instead of ginger ale might do me some good……...

ACF-50 is a very good stuff - always a few bottles in stock.  Just sprayed it a few days before on some areas in the motor compartment of my ´63 PEUGEOT 404 "Berline". (no personal relation just a satisfied customer)

I bought ACF50 and Engine Block in quantity and use it through a spray gun.
I think it's brilliant stuff but not sure of the difference between the 2 TBH
I sprayed it liberally under my then new Dodge Ram and it kept it like new and I know from previous Rams that everything corrodes underneath
WD40 not comparable really, different use and it evaporates as soon as you look away
