I love this color, looks very classy. This is the only M3W I've seen pics of that have chrome or stainless steel wheels.
It does look quite smart all dolled up with and the bright work.
I'm in two minds about chromed and stainless, just not sure.
I have stainless spokes on my old Harley and they look just as nice as the chrome and they don't rust.
For polishing of late, I've been using mag wheel polish. It's a paste and it seems to be quite good and fast at bringing back the luster of chrome and stainless pipes.
If you check out the spec on the MWS link I posted above, you will see the chrome rim version has stainless spokes and nipples, just like my Velo
Re the front pipes dulling, you can get back some of the brightness with very hard work using Autosol. Problem is the high temperatures suffered by the pipes results in deeper oxidisation of the surface.
Still experimenting with other products - plan on trying
Shiny Sinks a kitchen cleaning product available in good hardware stores. Works well on dull brass.
