Yeah...I was speaking of employees and a few "local regulars"... ones you'll find in here. If you can find somebody in here who just happens to be getting ready for a factory tour...😊

I think what Ken is saying is that anyone who happens to work at MMC can get in trouble for taking pics like this. 😉 That's the case, sadly.. In the past, some have taken kindness for weakness so now it's visitor photo's only.

I am in the same boat as I am build 84016! Supposed to start week 40, but should be in build now? If anyone is taking pics at the factory, please be on the lookout. It has been tough to get updates on status.

I just got the "2MRWKS" behind schedule news from my Dealer (order 84024). It has changed so many time I am loosing track of the Build Week. The reality will be when someone spots it at the Factory!
The good news for us is as of Oct. 21, all future orders will be subjected to another price increase. The Base Price is now £29,185. Plus Build Slots are booked through June of 2017.

Ken,
It's discouraging to hear that your build is another 2 weeks out....sorry. I hope mine is in process, but I won't hold my breath!
I am also amazed that Glenn's M3W isn't completely finished yet. They made such good progress on it at the beginning of Oct, but the finally assembly has slowed down quite a bit. Glenn, hope you have your car in your garage next week! If you happen to stop off at the factory one last time be on the lookout for 84012, 84016 & 84024.
Thanks Mate!

It has been tough to get updates on status. John, Where are you from and where is your M3W being delivered (once it's completed)? I am in Connecticut and I opted to have my car shipped (on a boat) versus paying the premium to have it air freighted. Just wondering since our build numbers are so close to one another if yours is being delivered to the US, if they will ship together. I assume the port in the northeast of the US they ship to is in Newark, NJ, but does anyone know the specifics of where shipments arrive for northeast US delivery? How do the cars get to the dealerships, and who pays for that transport? My guess is i will be responsible for the costs, but if anyone can share their insight, I would appreciate it. -Tom

Has there been a change. I've heard on this forum several times that many of the pictures in the "Build Book" are from file and not the actual pictures of your build

I am in Washington DC and they should be shipping to NJ Port across form NY. My dealer will go get the car and trailer it to the dealership and I have to get it from there or have it trucked down to me. I also checked into air freight, but will probably go with the roll on roll off option.
This is actually my second M3W. I had a 2012, but sold it about a year and a half ago. LOVED it but had to part with it for $$. Brexit made it cheaper and enabled me to get a new one for substantially less than my old one. My old one came into NJ in a container right as Hurricane Sandy hit. For week they couldn't tell me if it was floating in the Hudson or not.

I've heard on this forum several times that many of the pictures in the "Build Book" are from file and not the actual pictures of your build The only questionable picture in my official build book was the 'body' in the wood shop and that one may be generic. All the others were definitely my car because my own photos match the position of the car. (Except for the cuckoo LHD dash/brown interior which was somebody having a laugh)...............
