I think that the factory will be busy into next year fulfilling overseas orders courtesy of exchange rate benefits.......

At least 2 Morgan owners have opted for the Omex 2.5 VVT. One mild for touring and the other at the wild end. There may be others that I dont know about. Omex have done a huge amount of work developing this engine for the Frontline MG.

PS. I just remembered that, in addition to the 2 I mentioned above, Williams did a couple of Morgans with Omex 2.5s that went to NZ (I think) so that makes 4 that I know of.

For me I've now got what Morgan said the ARP4 was to be,a luxury sports tourer. Not the noisey gutless thing they supplied.

Congratulations Peter. It looks really nice. Now all you have to do is make a trip to Lake Como smile

PS. Let us have some photos of the interior too. Have they done anything special with the dash? If so you may like to put a photo in the Traditional Morgan Dashboards [Photos] thread.

Peter,
an excellent move. Can highly recommend visiting Lake Como. We did that this summer & it was great fun.

Had a great drive to Como in my 4/4...visited Lecco to sort out some admin on daughter's upcoming wedding...parked Morgan in car park near the Bell Tower and I was approached bt a very big black guy who said he would "guard" my car for 10 euros !!!!...left sharpish and found somewhere else to park !!!

This used to happen when going to gigs in central Manchester or Liverpool..you felt you had to pay or your car would be damaged by the "guardians".

Peter, have you the five link rear suspension? I was contemplating this today, as the ARP4 rear suspension also allegedly made more legroom by virtue of moving the seat back over what would ordinarily be leaf spring shackles.

Seat room is a good thing for my long legs..

Usually just a few rand does the job. Never had a problem in SA.
