Might be my imagination but the ration of Americans in here seems to be on the uptick. Anybody else notice that?

Hard to say. Is there an increase of new users that you have seen?

I believe you are confusing yourself with the meaning of yankee. In america its a term for northern states from the time of civil war. However, in this instance compared to Brits and many other countries, we are yanks by being born or living in the US.

With due respect - I think everyone so far has fully understood the question! My fellow Southerner simply announced that Southern position that many of us Yanks aren't Yanks at all...in the American sense wink
We're all saying the same thing, and I'm of course just pulling your leg here. but I have the fondest memory of my Grandmother calling into NPR once about 18yrs ago responding to a caller who was on a tirade about the Civil War. Having been born, bred and died in the wool a southerner, she politely reminded him that in the South we refer to the War as The War of Northern Aggression!

I think there has been a good uptick of Yank Morgan ownership - but so much if it has also gone unreported. I met a guy a few weeks ago at a Cars and Coffee with a 2012 M3W with nearly 13,000 miles on it who had never heard of Talk Morgan! I was stunned. Even if he is the minority, rest assured that there are many like him!

Count me in as a new "yank" member, waiting hopefully for an ordered M3w arriving in the spring to keep my '07 Lotus Elise and my '55 MG TF company in the 'brit section of the barn. No telling what the MG will have to say about it, but I'm sure the Elise will have a good chuckle when it sees the Morgan. Probably really need to sell one of them, as too many toys and not enough time...

Oh my, Ken talking about yanks. Getting me hot and bothered, do go on. From what I've understood though it seems like a whole lot of morgans have been for export with a large quantity coming here to the states. And that's not just the new three wheelers. Maybe I'm mistaken.
