An alternative wheel choice may be Minilite alloys, maybe? Williams have a 4/4 up for sale with centre lock Minilites on. They'd give you prices and availability on them, I'm sure.

I have a set of 4 anniversary wheels for sale and the cream 4/4 at williams has bolt on minilites, (i put them on)

Sorry Hugo, I hadn't seen yours..! I meant This One

I'm sure image make the wheels for the 80th .but you should be able to get a set of centre locks from mini lite if you give them the pcd and offset .
They offered to supply some in colour for my P4SS so can supply any size to fit the 4/4 if required then you can swop back to wires any time .

I'm sure, Image would make some of their Dunlop style wheels for you when the 80 cars are sold. This way you have
no extra costs on the car herself which sounds like a really serious amount for the need to change peripheral parts - and probably a hard way to return
so with the Dunlops the option to go back to wires is still there
you can be save about what you get because Image has the template and all correct measurements (offset, hub style)
and finally the car keeps her value as well as this extra wheels on their own - if anytime to sell separately one or the other.
This Dunlop style alloys look pretty much like old steel ones. Colour free of choice.

I have no further relation to the manufacturer of this wheels, just a thought which I anyway had myself as well, but I also love my black wires, BTW the regular wires are pretty light weight.

Thanks Heinz, yes that would probably be the best way to go if it would be possible to persuade them to sell a set of the 80th anniversary wheels, bonus is I like them!

I was just thinking aloud really. I've always preferred the look of steels on a Morgan but have only ever had cars with wires. I was thinking of having black wires this time but they've gone from being standard to costing nearly £1000 as an option!

Will see what's possible but will probably stick with what I'm given for the time being!

They do have three wheels that might fit the bill though in their catalogue. 'RER' 'RES' and 'Billet 46'all appear to be available in 15" and centre lock. Would these fit without issue?

As I said before I would think it is better to give them time until the 80 Anniversary cars are sold. Of course they have to be loyal to their client in first place.

Understood Heinz...
I have asked Image to quote on their Billet 46 Classic round hole center lock wheels..all dimensions as per 80Th Anniversary 4/4 wheels...
These look like the famous Dunlop/Jaguar wheels of the 50's/60's

Will report back when I get a response.

Regards
