I am British and I do not find this funny at all. A Meat and Potato Pie for goodness sake....why couldn't it have been Cod in Batter? Much more aerodynamic in my opinion.
And, what if the pie lands on someone's head on return to earth I doubt they'll think that 'British humour is alive and well'.....what about H&S....or the PM's Trousers?
Launching from Lancashire to land in Yorkshire? This could be seen as a pre-emptive strike that could trigger another War of The Roses.
No wonder those living South of Watford Gap Services think that people living in the North are odd.

And the Morgan is aerodynamic? And, what if the pie lands on someone's head on return to earth I doubt they'll think that 'British humour is alive and well'.....what about H&S....or the PM's Trousers? If they don't see it coming, they deserve it Launching from Lancashire to land in Yorkshire? This could be seen as a pre-emptive strike that could trigger another War of The Roses. They'll send it back as a Leek & Taytie Pie No wonder those living South of Watford Gap Services think that people living in the North are odd. I won't say what we think of you! <vbg>.

I agree what a waste of a pie but it must be the 1st time anything has been given away in Yorkshire but dont worry Graham is their been camping all week waiting for it to land on his plate . As for the war of the Roses fancy throwing chocolates at each other. I think its just the wrappers , but come to think of it since Kraft got hold of and ruined Cadburys they should be thrown away only about a handful in each plastic tub . Brings a whole new meaning to a cow pie in a field. I am British and I do not find this funny at all. A Meat and Potato Pie for goodness sake....why couldn't it have been Cod in Batter? Much more aerodynamic in my opinion.

And the Morgan is aerodynamic? Compared to a Meat and Potato Pie it probably is! If they don't see it coming, they deserve it. Fair Cop I guess. Launching from Lancashire to land in Yorkshire? This could be seen as a pre-emptive strike that could trigger another War of The Roses. They'll send it back as a Leek & Taytie Pie. Or has been said some chocolates! Or are you using a SatNav?

Where do you think I live? Or are you using a SatNav? If I were, I probably wouldn't know where I was, let alone you!

Bob Is you avatar something to do with "The British sense of humour" too, or has someone swiped the image?

Leek & Tattie pie - would that be "One giant leek for mankind"? The Tykes are not giving it away - they are on the receiving end so all will be well. You can always tell a Yorkshireman - but not much!
