We have the same over here , I could not shift a box of stuff I had picked up . So stuck it at what I purchased it for, in come Mr pain in the ass I will give you hell and speak 1/2 English . I told him speak bloody English and watched his face he thought he was going to win . So I turned up the heat started to speak very loud in Geordie then broke out my temper with a few expletives and went for his money . Odd how quick as a flash he shot the cash on the counter, did not want any of his own medicine . I grinned as I took his cash off him .

Richard , Reg and all , that's the last of my pile of jokes I had . So its up to others now . I can only pop on any that may be sent to me and now that's not very often . Or any cock ups that happen in everyday life .

There is council rules JTL, they are supposed to have sandbags on the legs. Problem is that the Restaurant next door put out the other places sign without permission and didn't sandbag it. The council consider this to hard to work out so they don't care. The owner of the Kebab shop who put out the sign has lost his ability to speak English whenever I approach.
Scary part is that had it hit a motorbike instead of my car, it could have had serious consequences. If the council don't enforce unlawful signs , make your own saying "The food in this restaurant is crap" and stand out side with it until you get your money. Guarantee it wont take long

I'm really surprised by Burgundymog's advice. JTL is right; there are a lot of nasty people out there. To stand outside a restaurant with a sign like that could well provoke a violent reaction - and could ultimately be seen as behavior liable to cause a breach of the peace. Just because somebody else has behaved badly, doesn't mean that you have to.

Its a few year ago when a short arsed Indian who always had a grey mac on walked into my place . He wanted Red u/coat . He was lucky it was being discontinued and I had 1x 500ml . He wanted a smaller one and was told not made . I started to get lip off him and at the same time a large lad from the next village walked in and caught drift . The Asian went on and one to my deaf ears . Was told take it its the last time you will see one . I put it on a counter went behind and he snarled "I want carrier bag " I put one on the counter he shouted " smaller one ". I picked the bag up and put it in the basket and picked out another one he grabbed it and threw it in my face . My toes gripped so hard there was holes in the floor . The large chap was standing behind him his eyes almost popped out . The idiot grabbed the tin and stormed out after paying . The lad said " how come you never lost your temper John " " that's what he wanted me to do so it was him who was p/off not me ", "I thought you would have chinned him , he deserved it . I took his money off him he will not last long a few have spoken of him . The take away did not last is now empty one chap said he died , must have ate his own cooking . Go to the local court and take out a small debts summons and have it delivered by an official of the court, if they do that in WA, or whoever normally does that. The costs get added to the claim. If he does not pay or does not defend it you can request further action including confiscation of assets to the value of the claim. I'm out of touch now but that is the way it used to work. In one of my other lives I worked for the claims department of an insurance company and nothing brought a client running in to fill in forms as quickly as when he received a small debts summons. Even if they protested they were in the right the insurance company always paid because it was less costly than paying solicitors to defend the claim.
