Thanks, yes I've seen that too and wondered how it would sound in combination with their back box deletion pipe. With your installation have you maintained the back box? How does in sound and run? I retained the Cat and the rear pipe, just changed the Morgan Silencer for the Rutter one. I have not had a remap. I get a little louder burble on lift off and the general noise is louder but in my opinion not too loud. I feather the throttle when in towns. I personally like the sound, it's no V8 roar but well worth the change. It is quiet until the system warms up. My son says from a distance when I give it a lot of power it sounds like a motorbike, but what does he know!

Clock, did you take your car to the Talk Morgan, Gaydon Motor Museum meet a couple or three years ago. If it was you your exhaust sounded great.

Fantastic sound, could hear you back up the Fosse Way, sounded like a V8.

Clock,
Sounds like a positive solution. How does the car run, have you noticed any running issues?
Also what's the engine and vintage of your car?

It is a 2007 Plus 4 (Ford Duratec), I have not noticed any differences (other than the sound), MPG etc remained the same.
It feels faster, but I suspect there is actually no difference.
I recently also put on a cold air intake, which gives a little more induction noise, but I could not measure any increase in power.
The Rutter box is the same construction as the Morgan one, basically a straight (through) perforated tube in a sound box.
The only difference I could see was that the Morgan box is fairly big and elliptical in cross section, whereas the Rutter box is a round section. So less volume to dissipate the sound energy.
I was going for a Librands or Williams system but then saw this at a fraction of the price. Easy to fit, I did not even need to jack up the car.
One of my cheaper mods to the car and probably the most fun!

Thanks Clock. It seems you had the same thoughts as I'm having. The off the shelf systems do seem rather expensive for what you actually get. I suspect you probably need the manifold and cat to notice any real performance benefits (@circa £1200 ) Your car has the same set up as I've got, so I guess I should be okay. Will give it some more thought but thanks again for your feedback.
