How to remove swirls and other marks without resulting to having to resort to buying a Meguiars buffer (if that is feasible).  +1 +2 but on clear laquered surfaces

It avoid to swirls, keep away from sponges and circular polishing.
Protection film is tricky because it's a soft surface.
On MGB rubber bumpers I used multi layers of a simple wax and they were gloss black. I would try the same thing on protection film with maybe some polish to start but only light pressure. If it gets hot you're in trouble I suspect.

So I'm thinking of doing wheels and swirl removal first. Fingers crossed I'll do them over the next week or so!

It would be helpful to have advice on removing slight heel scuffs on paint protection film. +1 I have actually managed to remove some light scuffs from film before using a heat gun! The idea is to heat it up enough to relax the film, but not so much that it damages it.

How to remove spew from leather, this is the animal fat that leaks to the leather surface. One can determine if its spew by using a hair dryer and the mark will disappear. I've done some reading up on spew before, but never actually dealt with it! There are quite a few spew remover products available. - Corrosion paint bubbles
- Door paint rubbing onto leather
- light clear coat scratches
It would be great if you were also able to reference youtube videos of your techniques. If you've got bubbles under the paint, the only way to sort it is to have that panel resprayed, unfortunately. The rust will be working it's way from the inside out, and will eventually come through the paint. Best to get it sorted sooner rather than later, as it'll only get worse! As for the paint rubbing on the leather, it depends if it's damaged the leather or not. If it's just marked, any good leather cleaner should able to sort it, but if it's worn through the top layer of leather, that bit may have to be re-dyed, or worse case, re-trimmed.

ELBOW GREASE, ELBOW GREASE, ELBOW GREASE!! You can use a light/medium grade wire wool with the polish to give it a little extra 'bite'. I use that method a lot for exhaust tips. 9/10 it'll leave some light scratches though, which can then be polished out with a less abrasive metal polish.
