For scuffs on paint protection film,I've been told to use a metal polish,
not tried yet , has anyone used this method?

not tried yet , has anyone used this method? That'll be way too abrasive! If you're going to polish it, you want to use the least abrasive polish, otherwise you'll just dull the finish.

Re the above, I tried Autofinesse final polish ( least abrasive) on my sidescreen windows. It worked well but the deeper scratches were left.....too deep to remove fully. It is a pretty fine grade polish so might also work on the film, possibly the hood windows too?
Any experience of this?
I have also seen you tube vids where people have used some toothpaste to polish up plastic headlight lenses, I think it was paste sold as a "whitener" type.
How about bicarbonate of soda made into a paste with water? It cleans the insides of stained teacups well!

I use showroom shine in n mine and it works wonders especially on filler cap and anythig either painted or aluminium I also find it so easy to use and requires little or no effort to apply and shine I can not recommend this enough.
Please be aware that this polish is designed to be used with or without washing the car first but I would always recommend to wash the car first as polishing dirt into the paint is never a good idea even if the bottle says that you can.

On my Paint Protection I use Meguiars Scratch Cover.
It seems to work really well.
On the filler Cap I use Auto-solve.

I personally always like to ensure I apply the biggest tool I can find for any given job.  He is walking towards me on the left. He actually did the entire thing by hand. Controlled the unit and selected the wash elements so the brushes never turned on etc. Great job. Only wanted €10 and to have his picture taken in the car, so I gave him €20 and a blast up and down the road which had the effect of drawing a crowd and some police. The police clapped the hardest !
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I'm ashamed to say I've never given the car a proper wax. It typically looks best when its collected from the dealer. Out of interest, of the options, waxed or sealed, or
ceramic coating, whats the preferred choice?
