Easy to do - mine is without the rack 99% of the time.

Open the hood.
Release the hood catch (drivers side catch).
Lift the folded hood over the seats and don NOT drop it on the steering wheel (I've done this once on both Morgans I've owned).
You'll then see the two hex bolts holding it in place.
Remove these.
The rack can then be removed, there are no other bolts.

Get on to Simon at Mulfab who has designed a chromed piece that neatens the two prongs that remain.

Job done. smile

And this is what it looks like....

When made by Simon at SiFab....

Hey, cheers guys, will be in contact with Simon.

Bit gutted, but my car didn't come with a Plus 8 badge, that seems a bit odd! Can you buy these aftermarket?

I ordered a Plus 8 script badge for my trad, got it from Rutters but any dealer should be able to get one for you. Be prepared to be patient though, mine took 6 months confused

Congratulations, Bruce, have many happy miles with her.
I like the wheels and the seats. The tires, not that much...

Stupid question alert. wink I've got the Plus8 script which looks great, but how do you stick it on? Double sided tape and cut around it or something a little easier?!

thumbs I used heavy duty (carpet) double sided tape and cut around it, a bit fiddly but it has stayed put without damaging the car.
