Just returned from an excellent return run to Cornwall over the last two and a half days, well over 650 miles all told. The G56 pipes give the engine tremendous oomph at high speed. Climbing the steepish hills on the A30 around Dartmoor, it was really satisfying to put the pedal to the metal and accelerate from 70mph, even in top.

At the seaside in Portreath.

Early this morning ready to go. The windscreen gives some similarity to a cartoon character methinks!
So today I returned home, but not without taking a detour to the Atlantic Highway to meet Robert (Grockle). The roads in N Cornwall and Devon might have been designed for M3Ws.

Photo opportunity at Widmouth Bay.
Had a jolly good run from Bideford (passing a red and a cream Morgan four wheeler on the northbound A361) to the M5 / M4 and hence to the Home Counties. Thumper was video'd at least four times on the M4 from Membury services to the M25, and then home in time for tea.
