Evening fine chaps and chapesses I'm probably on my own as I really like light bodied Burgundy wine probably, if truth be told, in preference to big full bodied reds I find some powerful Syra/Shiraz wines as pleasant as drinking Benylin (not all) but certainly I find good quality, light bodied Pinot noir preferable with the sort of lunches and dinners I enjoy, especially in the Summer Finding a good quality Burgundy that doesn't break the bank can also be a bit of a challenge but I have had this recommended as it's perfect Beautiful red cherry and red currant flavour with just enough complexity to keep it interesting and make the mouth water Just enjoyed a half bottle with a plowmans style dinner  The producer is Didier Charton- Vachet and it's called Cuvee Des Henri

Agree completely. I might be a bit of pleb but I also enjoy a nice Beaujolais Fleurie or Villages. I find the comparison to Benylin amusing and accurate. We're not huge Pinot Noir fans, although as we mentioned recently, Ata Rangi from NZ is lovely. The best thing about wine is being able to explore. When we're away we bang away at the list, rather than have the same every night as some seem to do.
We started out with Australian reds, and so we have a soft spot for this style. Although any reasonable new world red is worthy of a try.

I am on a Gere Villány Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 from Hungary at this moment.
Splendid like many Hungarian wines.A bit difficult to purchase outside Hungary though.👍🍷

Don't really like any red wine , sorry , prefer sauvignon blanc or white Rioja !

The French are very good at promoting their wines but by and large they are expensive and not as good as Italian wines. I have consumed some fine French wines but I must say that I tend to prefer Italian wines. At least once a year we go with friends on a wine buying expedition in Piemonte. Our favourite is
Cantine Amerio You can call in for a tasting at any time during their opening hours, but if prearranged for a group they will also lay on some salami and cheese to go with the wine. A great area to visit

If it's a red wine I'll drink a Malbec(some said my country produces the finest) . If white a rather drink a Torrontes or Chardonnay, the sweeter the better.
