Latest news from my dealer:

"If we confirm the spec today or tomorrow the car will go in to build within 6 weeks and Morgan will complete the SVA prior to releasing the car to us."

Are you going to use the car in the UK?

Yup. As I understand it, I will be able to take it over to Europe as well but just wouldn't be able to register it there.

Latest from my dealer:

"I have confirmed your specification with the Morgan factory this morning but they have come back to me to advise me that the Stage-1 upgrade kit has been deleted from the options list due to supplier issues.

At this time they can't confirm when or if this option will be available in the future but I understand that Krazy Horse, the Morgan dealer in Bury St Edmunds have developed their own kit."

Am I right in thinking the KH exhausts are much more noisy than the standard/factory Stage 1 pipes? Would be grateful to hear what people think about the KH upgrade and also the G56 alternative.

Many thanks. Nothing is ever straightforward with Morgan....😡

I always think it's a good idea to taste your meal before adding salt.

Hi Shaun, i can confirm that the Krazyhorse stage 1 was very noisy, ear shattering indeed. But that was a year ago.

The G56 exhaust is quieter, but it may come with all the add-ons.
Krazyhorse have made a pair of exhausts to my pattern, i have no idea how they sound.
I am unable to upload an image at the moment, so john`s 3 wheeler

These exhausts are oval not round.

If the M3W is going through the MSVA test it will need to be a lot quieter - 99dBA limit at 0.5m and 45 degree angle.

Fairly happy with the noise. Wouldn't go much louder, but it would be nice if it gave enough of a power boost that me with a passenger felt like it does when I'm solo. Adding 1/7th the weight of the vehicle by having an adult beside me is noticeable.

Mostly I ride alone or with a small child and it isn't a problem though.

So true, having a fair sized passenger on board is like a normal car with a loaded trailer on the back.
