John. It was my intention to order a 3.0 Roadster when I came to Malvern late 2011 but they had just closed the last orders on the 3litre and they were not yet ready with the 3.7. That's how I finished up with the Plus 4. I love it but always felt that about 200 hp was ideal in the Morgan. I keep thinking about the 2.5 Suplex engine but I would find it hard to justify changing my engine..... But if ever I have to replace it spend

Well done Steve, that looks like a really nice ride. I would like to end up in a +8 or a 3.7 Roadster, but I think with the price of these in Oz and having now retired that dream rests with the lotto numbers.
There is something about driving a car that looks like it comes from the 50's but drives like it comes from the dancing horse factory that appeals to me.

Oh well as Gambalunga says lets get the +4 to 200 horses.

Thanks again, everyone..

Just having a sit down with a brew after fettling the 4/4 back to a beautiful though anonymous little car again. And every little thing brings back memories..

I hope whoever buys it has as much fun and special times as I have.

Steve,

is the polished alloy on the bonnet and cowl treated in any way - i.e. a clear lacquer coat or similar?

Just wondering if you need to keep polishing to keep the shine...... confused2

Umm, no it's just that. Polished & bare aluminium..

I like the idea of Aeroman's old car owner, namely get it sorted properly and get some paint protection film on it to preserve the shine..

Not sure (despite the scurrilous rumours..) that my right arm is up to the job on a weekly basis..
