Sorry to hear about your latest discovery of yet another potential source of cracks.
I hope you can get it repaired quickly and efficiently without too much expense.
Have you let MMC know about this, and if so, what is their reaction?

Not told MMC about this yet Keith, other than if they read it here? My warranty has long expired and I don't think it is a big enough job to trouble them with. I will probably weld it up myself and maybe add a bit more metal to the tab, in typical Morgan engineering solution style. This may be just an isolated case?
I was about to start fitting my nice new SPA oil temp and pressure indicator (thanks for all that info) but that will have to wait a bit longer now.

I had a quick peek under mine at lunch time , but couldn't see anything as the floor panels on mine carry on further rear than yours and obscure it except the face with the Allen head nut.
Not a quick job so left it for another day.
Mines a late 2013 by the way.

Like nippymog I tried to take a look under my 3W and I have an aluminum panel which cover the chassis brace. I can't see if my chassis is ok because I should remove the panel. Mine is a 2012 with 4100 miles on

checked my 2014 with 6700 miles, no cracks. My bracket looks slightly different, with a flatter offset, I think. I also don't recognize the white round dot in the frame, mine has an empty hole there.

I would still let MMC know about it. The more complaints about the frames failings maybe they will do a better job of building it. I would think it would be a liability issue.
