New to the group, here. 2012 3 wheeler, just over 2000 miles. Hearing a noise (a heavy sounding click)from the rear that seems to be related to a rational movement. Once every rotation of the wheel or rear sprocket. However, it does not do it when going backwards. And, it does go away when the hand brake is pulled on.

Any ideas?

Hi,

http://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/457428/6
This may give you the answer
I jacked up the car and turned the wheel by hand the "clank" appears to occur at the same point in the rotation of the rear wheel, after a number of rotations the point moves slightly forward.
I'm thinking this may be a broken bearing. The belt is free of stones and so are the teeth. I'm rather disappointed now the nice weather has arrived I can't drive it.
Hope this helps to identify your problem

The Clanking sound turned out to be the End Float play in the bearing to hub fit. This required the replacement of the hub and bearings. The rear wheel was almost seized and the wheel cylinder was also replaced.
