If you're interested in SOE, Leo Marks' book 'Between silk and cyanide' is one of the best books I've ever read.
Marks was the SOE's code-master. The book is really fascinating and beautifully written. Thank you Giles - downloaded to my Kindle and in the queue to read.

I'm currently reading Russell Brands book 'Bookey Wook'
I don't necessarily agree with his views but its a very well written book!

Purity by Johnathan Franzen. Almost put it down because I could barely cope with such messed up characters but persevered because The Corrections and Freedom were so good. It was worth it, especially for the insights into Julian Assange.
