Yep, my spec (which I would not change) has gone from 30k to 40k before tax

The new price makes it very expensive.

The base price at £38920 is now only £135 cheaper than the 4/4 price. And some of the options have almost doubled in price since I bought mine in 2003 bespoke paint £819 now and luggage rack £699.30 for instance.

Viewed as what it is rather than what it offers, the M3W has never been a cheap car. Now though with the no doubt justifiable, in MMC's eyes, hike it's ridiculously over-priced.

I can't help but wonder if MMC's management see the mods (US and Euro) and attendant price increases, as a face saving way to end production as sales taper off.

Given current (pun?) battery technology, I can't see the electric M3W saving the day.

Just to throw a comment in, I was under the impression that Euro IV compliance required anti-lock braking systems and anti-skid control..? Does the next generation of M3W have this? Is the throttle a fly by wire?

The increased ground clearance would be great for trials, too..!

It certainly does for larger capacity bikes.

Further to my post on 05/05/17 about my M3W ordered in March through Krazy Horse in Bury St Edmunds, initially for a May build date that was subsequently delayed until July. Went to the factory last week to see the work in progress - all was exactly on schedule, just waiting for the paint shop to finish the body work before final assembly and PDI. Heard today that it has been completed exactly as promised. It is one of the last to be built to Euro 3 spec and consequently requires a Individual Vehicle Approval (IVA) by Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) prior to registration. To my utter amazement this cannot be done until 10th August - a further 4 week delay.

Sorry to hear that. Doesn't surprise me that getting SVA approval will take a bit of time. Just heard from Mark Cerrone at the factory that the body for mine has now been delivered and will go to the paint shop next week. Slowly getting there....

Let's see the positive side: at least you'll get what you ordered.

Saw this M3W in our factory tour last Monday, probably for UK market.

It shows the storky Euro 4 rear lights. Not sure what the black bits are made of, but clearly not a major job to move then in-board.

The test Euro 4 car was not visible. I was told it was at Chateau Impney, but I suspect not.

Hi Tim W.
Two things; 1, i can`t see any aero screens on the car, and if the car is for the UK, why have they fitted Euro4 spec lights on it?
Seems a bit of a mash up.
John.
