About 9,000 since the Centa drive was replaced. It has been getting progressively more vibration recently so I had a check through the bellhousing hole (after cutting it) and found the rubber bits. Planning the work and getting the parts together now. Austin has been a big help with info for that.

I have just increased that 5% figure. It looks like I have a bit of work ahead. Have a look at the Centa drive fault if this doesn't look familiar. Yes I have read through that Centa and it looks like a lot of work involved - good luck with this I'm sorry to see it though.

It looks like our M3W's having never ending problems.
When I checked some older post I also see you (Planenut) used to drive with low Rpm's in higher gears. Not sure if this can be the cause of the problems but it could be.
And perhaps also important you didn't had the greasing hole in the housing what I read in your last post. Can there be a link with not having some fresh air (cooling) in the housing and the braking down of the rubber ? A bit similar like the camshaft belt. If I remember well I read this suggestion also somewhere in the forum.
I'm thinking about to make a small air scope on the greasing hole with some screen to get more fresh air in and the screen is there that in case the rubbers falling apart the pieces don't fall out during driving. I will be warned for troubles when I see rubber parts in front of the s

You could be right about the lack of cooling air Laurens. I am also planning to improve the cooling air flow. My car didn't have the greasing hole cut when the Centa drive was fitted 9000 miles ago. I don't think lower rpm (with the G56 kit) at light power settings would cause a problem, heat build up more likely would.

All I can say is that I've driven s few hundred miles and 2 Sprint events since fixing my Centa unit.....and dare I say, all has been good....Oh apart from my Banner battery giving up the ghost at the weekend A light weigh Lithium battery is in the post....which has also resulted in an equal weight reduction to my wallet

Hello, I'm new on this forum. I'm Michael and I'm waiting for my M3W, which is now scheduled for production in mid August (week 33, previously was week 19...). Does anyone know if Morgan started the production finally? I'm happy to be in the begening of the line (my M3W should be produced in the 2nd week after they start EU4 cars), but I don't know when will it be...
The second thing is the look of the car. I saw here some photos with long rear lights sticks and rather ugly air intake pipes, but me dealer says that what he knows is only "slight change" in front lights (in EV3 style, he says). Does anyone has some info about that?

Welcome to TM Michael - hope the build goes well.
Your car should be Euro4 build - which will be to the pictures you have seen.
You dealer should have been advised with an official notification sheet - as published on this site, showing all the changes.

I have just increased that 5% figure. It looks like I have a bit of work ahead. Have a look at the Centa drive fault if this doesn't look familiar. Hmmm, you've gotten me all worried now Ian. As far as I am aware, I don't have an issue with my Centa right now, although looking at the bag-of-coal you've removed from your car I suspect that these Centa's are maybe not quite as robust and perfect a solution as we all first hoped. I do have an interesting 'symptom' however, in that when I accelerate with anything more than a modicum of spirit, I get an instantaneous and very obvious smell of burning rubber. It clears incredibly quickly, but appears just as magically, although only when I get on the gas. Cruising, no problem. Large it out of a roundabout though and you'd think you were leaving a fat 50yd darkie and clouds of smoke out the back. But there's no smoke, just the smell. Tell me my Centa isn't likely to be falling apart, as I have a lovely smooth drive right now Thanks!
