I have the HoE ones, as mentioned, BUT fitting took time and care.
The parts as supplied didn't perfectly fit the panel, so I spent about an hour "fettling" (subtle bending and re-profiling) so that there was a perfect conformity between the side panel and the protector and most importantly there is NO gap between metal and leather at the top.
After 2 years they have not moved and there has been no additional wear on the leather. +1

I had the Morgan spares but could not live with extra holes in the leather, so made them my self with correctly positioned holes. Stefan

I had mine (HoE) fitted by Jenks Engineering of Salisbury. A fine job he did too.

I got mine fro Henry at Berrybrooks, sorted out my frayed edges. It would take more than a couple of stainless trim pieces to sort my frayed edges!!!!
Here for a good time not a long time!! Reg

I bought some of the heavy duty Morgan ones but didn't like the thought of the drilled leather and the fact that they covered up a lot of it.
In the end I gave them to a friend for his car and had Oakmere fit the HoE ones. They are just what I needed and protect the edge without encroaching onto the leather.
P.S. He still has the Morgan ones as they didn't fit his car and made noises about selling them off on the cheap, if you need some PM me and I will put you in touch

Thanks for the offer Stuart I think I'll go HofE on recommendations and the fact that I don't fancy making holes in the leather if I can help it. If they don't work out I will PM you especially as Morgan have none in stock.

I ordered the metal edge protectors from Heart of England (if I recall correctly) and they did not fit the profile of my trim, 1995 4/4. I bought a set of truck sized door edge protectors at an auto parts store, cut them to length and pushed them on. They are black and are available in chrome as well. They look and work great at a fraction of the price.

I have to say the H0fE ones needed a small bit of tweaking but I am very pleased with the result. I would post a pic if I knew how.
