Nothing special at all. Will start fine so long as the new battery is actually charged!

In case any other cheap-skates are out there, I replaced my Banner when it failed last year with an identical size and spec battery designed for ride-on lawn tractors and similar.
Fitted easily but I had to find an adaptor as the pole contacts were in a slightly different orientation.
Battery delivered was just over £30 and has worked flawlessly since.

Very neat! Lowdown weight too - good for the CoG!

Excellent idea..!! Plenty of ventilation, so that's all good.

What an opportunity to turn the oil tank 90 degrees and free up a whole load of space for luggage (or tools..!!) under there.
