Anything special about changing the battery? My dealer when I bought it said not to do it myself as there might be some problem starting it after you do. 2013 model. Nothing special at all. Will start fine so long as the new battery is actually charged!

In case any other cheap-skates are out there, I replaced my Banner when it failed last year with an identical size and spec battery designed for ride-on lawn tractors and similar.
Fitted easily but I had to find an adaptor as the pole contacts were in a slightly different orientation.
Battery delivered was just over £30 and has worked flawlessly since.

Excellent idea..!! Plenty of ventilation, so that's all good. What an opportunity to turn the oil tank 90 degrees and free up a whole load of space for luggage (or tools..!!) under there.
