Steve, those were offered in 1963 by Morgan in the +4+, only 26 people wanted them. The same with the raked, curved windscreen and proper wiper blades.

Rather like the huge conundrum 'when do we turn the central heating back on?' ... Not a conundrum at all for me, I have this fabulous device called a "thermostat" which switches the central heating on when it's needed. The sidescreens have to be done manually, of course, but I do it on an as needed basis rather than a date. ~iw

Home heating and cooling use when we feel it's required, same with side screens and hood. Irrespective of time of year. I once worked with a Yorkshire man, who would only allow heating in winter and it wasn't because he was hard, more the case he was tight.

Never fit them on my vintage Sunbeam, I suppose they are still in the well behind the seat. I do keep the hood up most of the time as it looks better with it up & I've never found how to fold it to avoid fretting on the frame. In the rain if you keep moving the rain just goes round you.
