Just checked oil level on my 2015, I had waited 10 mins after running it up, there was a little bit of foaming on the surface, the oil level was ok, but is the foaming indicative of a problem? I have'nt noticed any previously. Warranty expires in a month's time!

Is it milky coloured? This might indicate some moisture in the oil but might just be condensation if it does not get long regular run outs.
Many years ago I changed the head gasket on a Montego as the dipstick and filler were full of milky foam. Then I found out it was a trait of this type of engine and not the head gasket.

Not really milky and not a lot of it, weather bad here but will take for a good run asap and check again, must admit it has'nt had much useage later but did have 60 mile run on Thursday.

When was the last oil change? what oil? the water if in the engine will be sitting at the bottom of the sump until its mixed buy the action of the pump and engine movement. If the car is not 'run up' to operating temp the moisture will accumulate inside the engine. If run up to operating temp then the moisture will evapourate. Keep an eye on water levels in the cooling system, only remove cap when engine is cool!

There is no cooling system with water in it on the Three Wheeler, as it is built using the KISS philosophy. KISS makes sure almost nothing can ever go wrong.

As it is a dry sump engine I would surmise that the oil pump gulps whatever vapor is in the engine as well. That would lead to foaming.
What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

The oil does get fairly frothy after a run - Once again I've inspected the oil following this and it's perfectly clean, functional, just frothy.
Changing the oil regularly is a given.

I've had the same experience as Mark H, and agree, regular oil changes are essential. Does seem to muck up faster than I would have expected.
