Perhaps it would be better to have an expert do the fueling. A Miss Fuel would only cause problems if  was in the car.  PS. Search "THE FUEL GIRLS" on Google. But not at work

I put a few litres of diesel VPower into my daughters Yaris. I was having difficulty getting the nozzle in and spilling fuel when I realised that I was being a complete idiot.
I then filled up with Petrol! No harm done.
I was talking to an RAC guy draining a car at a local petrol station and in chatting discovered that the petrol/diesel mix removed costs 50% more than the cost of fuel, per litre, to dispose off as there is no market for it. So it is simply incinerated and converted to CO2.....
Another very good reason to avoid the mistake, in effect you buy the fuel, pay 150% to have it removed, so close to £3.20 a litre and then it is all converted pointlessly to CO2!!
As I remember Peter, it costed us £ 250,- to have the diesel removed by the AA fuel engineer!

Never done it, but just had a try with the diesel nozzle on the Audi and it doesn't fit, so not sure how they manage it?
On a slightly less irksome point, not only does the Aero like a drink, but it likes to spill a bit as it cuts off when filling up for some reason.
Need to keep some kitchen roll in the boot, which handily is open when refuelling.

Need to keep some kitchen roll in the boot, which handily is open when refuelling. Really is a fantastic design feature, isn't it. I really can't imagine why it hasn't been picked up by other manufacturers. I don't suppose it has anything to do with the possibility of; petrol fumes, closed space, electric spark. No probably nothing like that and I'm sure that the boot couldn't possibly fill up with fumes.

I must admit the Vpower petrol and diesel pumps are easy to confuse in a rush. The non-Vpower are straightforward. How?  The diesel hose is black, the petrol green. Biggest risk is if you have one diesel car and one petrol in the family
