I Agree - it doesn’t look like a £250k car does it ?

It looks OK, certainly not a dog but really?... £250K !

I know that’s not part of Bristol’s esoteric existence to be showy, rather they are a bit eccentric as you say for eccentrics but I think it’s just too sparse a sports car rather than GT

Price aside (and there are plenty of fortunate souls who can afford to think that way) isn't its biggest problem the fact that it doesn't even look like a Bristol? (the mainstream & slightly bulbous but nonetheless handsome GTs rather than the bodged DHCs). sick

Check out images of the 404 and 405 Drop Head Coupes - not too dissimilar

Thank you Stewart - I stand educated and can see now where the inspiration comes from. I did make the distinction that I associated Bristols with the "mainstream & slightly bulbous but nonetheless handsome GTs". Now I know why - the handfuls of 404 and 405 dropheads were actually built by Abbott Coachworks in Farnham rather than by Bristol themselves. Still don't like the new one though...

I agree Stuart

The Bristol’s that I like are the classic, slightly quirky, GT’s

I don’t think Bristol as a marque are well represented by a two seater sports without a roof

To be honest, that's how most of us think of Bristols. [snigger]
