In common with the Morgan fallacy of never putting the hood up, surely someone's going claim that is much more in the spirit of things to drive along expecting one of the wheels to fall off?

I’m a retired accountant and an engineer - so I can appreciate the cost of not doing the job properly!

I have used one of Sarto's tools for my wife's Elan, it's very good. He also does one for Morgans http://knockoffspinnertool.com/two_eared_spinners_42mm_-_52mmDepending who you talk to or what you read the Elan spinners should be tightened to between 180lb ft to 220lb ft - I go for 180lb ft in the middle.
