And the rest of the hose looks "poor"; checked and cracking?!

I would replace with fuel injection spec'd hose; two plys of weave molded in the rubber.

When I had the frame replaced they took the time to go over everything. Fuel lines and even oil lines were replaced. All needed it. On a five year old car...


What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

is 25mm the diameter of the fueltank "exit-pipe" or the diameter of the rubber hose (80mm length)?

you mean the aluminium pipe running underneath the bevelbox has a diameter of 25mm?
